Battery life varies, depending on speed, control, weight and water conditions -- up to 45 minutes. To read the battery level, there is a LED meter on the remote and one on the battery in the board. When the board battery is low, the remote will begin to vibrate.
Controls are simple: there's a wireless remote with a trigger for variable speed. If you let go of the trigger, the board will significantly slow down to nearly a stop. To steer, just lean!
Yes. The boards weighs 50lb and the battery an additional 50lb. A rider weight of 300lb or LESS is suggested.
The wireless remote simply connects to the built-in battery via Bluetooth.
"When in doubt: bail out!" is our motto. The jet is built inside the board, so even if you fall off, there is no risk of being hurt by the motor. There’s a magnetic safety key that is attached to the top of the battery and to your life jacket. If you do fall off, the board shuts down and the lanyard will keep the board near you.
No, you will need to stop and get off the board before you get to shore.
